Account handoff

The game account handoff checklist

The first hour after delivery decides whether an account stays yours. Work through these steps in order.

Before you log in

Open the order page and read the delivery message in full. Make sure the details match the listing: platform, region, level and anything the seller promised. If something is already wrong, say so on the order before changing anything.

Secure the account in this order

Changing things in the right order stops anyone else from undoing your changes.

  • Change the recovery email to one only you control.
  • Change the password to a new, unique one.
  • Turn on two-factor authentication with your own phone or app.
  • Remove phone numbers, backup codes and devices you do not recognise.
  • Unlink third-party logins (console, social or launcher accounts) that are not yours.
  • Sign out of all other sessions if the game offers that option.

Check what you paid for

Go through the inventory, ranks, skins or currency listed in the offer and take screenshots. Keep them on the order chat so the evidence is recorded with timestamps.

Only then confirm the order

Your payment stays held by E4U Protection during the review window. If anything is missing or the seller still has access, open a ticket before the window ends and the funds freeze while our team reviews.

Frequently asked

What if the seller refuses to give the recovery email?
Do not confirm the order. Raise the problem on the order page inside the review window so the payment is frozen and reviewed.
Should I keep the seller's original email linked?
No. Anyone who controls the recovery email can usually reset the password, so replace it with your own first.
